About LeafLeaf

LeafLeaf seeks to provide wholesale ready-to-drink (RTD) teas of unparalleled quality to retailers nationwide. Our beverages are the harmonious fusion of whole leaf tea, full-spectrum hemp (CBD), and organic mushrooms (no, not the magic kind!). Our products are unique offerings — a new world of taste with only the essentials to provide you with energy, clarity, and mental balance. We brew each tea in-house in Tucson, Arizona honoring traditional methods for a refreshingly-nutritious experience.

Our  information age is promoting a new wave of enlightened, health-minded consumers who are always searching for the next best product. With the rising popularity of CBD, there is an equally-rising flood of CBD-infused products that are hitting shelves in cities nationwide. Consumers of CBD products are being taken advantage of through false claims, fake ingredients, and hiked prices in order to fulfill profit-based agendas. Transparency, from the ingredients used, down to lab testing, sourcing, sustainability, to the welfare of the workers producing the ingredients, is commonly left off of the table — or in this case, the label. Consumers need superior options that place people over profits.

We  are the first tea beverage of its kind and we promise to remain committed to the transparent sourcing of our tea leaves and all supplementary ingredients. Our ingredient partners are masters within their (quite literal) respective fields. Being supplied top quality ingredients allows us to eliminate the need for flavor masks such as sugars, concentrates, and powders that still dominate the RTD tea market. Instead, our focus is on extracting the most natural flavor out of the tea leaves through our contemporized brewing process — the convergence of science and tradition.

Each  bottle we brew contains a specific curation of synergistic ingredients that provide as much benefit as they do flavor. While LeafLeaf is by no means an energy drink, each bottle contains roughly half as much caffeine as a cup of coffee, so think of us as your afternoon or post-lunch pick-me-up — just what you need and nothing you don’t. Our vessels are manufactured from recycled material and are 100% infinitely recyclable themselves with labels printed on Biostone as a show of our commitment to sustainable practices moving forward. Every six months we will donate $0.10 for every single unit of tea we’ve sold to a community non-profit of your choosing.

LeafLeaf aspires to cultivate cultures and inspire connections between people, our beverages and practices, and this planet we all share. Utilizing socially-conscious & science-backed ingredients and production methods, LeafLeaf aims to challenge the status quo of the beverage industry in pursuit of a healthy, transparent, and sustainably-minded future.

Our Ingredients

Dian Hong Gong Fu Black Tea

“Gong Fu” refers to the time-consuming process which gives this tea its characteristic rich, full-bodied flavor & freshly-sweet aroma.  Our Dian Hong Gong Fu is sourced directly from the tea fields of the Yunnan Province of China and is the highest grade made from unchopped leaves.  This ensures that there is no bitter flavor when brewed, making this the perfect chilled summertime tea.  This tea brews to a bright red hue and naturally contains 80mg of caffeine per 12oz can.

Snow Orchid Wulong Tea

Snow Orchid is regarded as the most popular wulong tea in the Guangdong Province of Chaozhou City, from which this tea hails, due to its mountain origins and its robust orchid aroma & flavor.  This tea has centuries-old origins and is harvested in April where it then goes through an intensive oxidation and roasting process to lock in its character.  This tea produces a complex, lingering flavor that promotes focus & digestion.  Naturally contains 60mg of caffeine per 12oz can.

Jasmine Pearl Green Tea

Dried and hand-rolled as a green tea in the Fujian Province of China, this tea is infused in a 7:3 tea-to-jasmine ratio and left to absorb the floral aroma for two to three weeks.  The tea is separated, dried, and then re-infused for a total of three times with fresh jasmine flowers each time to achieve its superior grade.  This tea is not overpoweringly floral and is intensely refreshing when chilled.  Sourced from the Fujian Province, this tea naturally contains 50mg of caffeine per 12oz can.

Organic Shade-Grown Matcha Tea

Our Organic Matcha is grown in the tea gardens of the Zhejiang Province and are shaded every Spring.  The shading process begins a month before harvest and forces the tea bushes to produce higher chlorophyll levels due to hindered photosynthesis—this yields a darker green tea with a smooth and sweet character.  Although lightly earthy and vegetal in taste, our matcha is highly quenching and contains 70mg of natural caffeine per 12oz can.

Full-Spectrum Hemp Extract

Full-spectrum CBD is an extract that contains all of the naturally-occurring compounds found in the source plant, including terpenes, essential oils, and other cannabinoids.  Together, this full-spectrum produces what is commonly referred to as the “entourage effect” — a synergistic effect that helps maximize the therapeutic effects of CBD, producing a stronger influence than any component ingested by itself.  For more information on this, please visit the Message Board.

Organic Lion’s Mane Mushrooms

Although not sourced from real lions, Lion’s Mane is certainly the King of Mushrooms.  Lion’s Mane mushrooms are powerful adaptogens that have been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine and are being extensively researched in modern labs for their positive impacts on brain cells, including neuroprotective and nerve growth properties.  Current research shows that Lion’s Mane supports brain function, protects nerves, and suppresses oxidative damage.

Organic Cordyceps Mushrooms

Cordyceps, the groovy, tentacle-like orange mushroom, is a rare fungus that contains all of the essential amino acids and more than 50 types of phytonutrients & enzymes.  Although Cordyceps is not as research-backed as other fungi such as Lion’s Mane, it has been used in Eastern medicine for centuries to naturally treat immune disorders and improve stamina & blood flow — on top of that, Cordyceps mushrooms have a wonderfully-earthy and savory umami taste to boot!

Organic Raw Honey

Aside from being a good source of antioxidants, raw honey is also a phytonutrient powerhouse with antibacterial and antifungal properties.  Pairing well with our Jasmine Pearl tea, organic raw honey makes for an excellent natural sugar substitute that’s good for you, too!
